
Enrico Castellani. Opus incertum
Opus Incertum. Mostra in sette situazioni is a catalogue published by Franca Mancini forming part of the Les rencontres Rossiniennes, organised starting from 1980 by the Associazione “Il teatro degli Artisti” in collaboration with the Assessorato del Comune di Pesaro, the Rossini Opera Festival, the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Pesaro and the Assessorato alla Cultura della Regione Marche. The exhibition project foresaw “seven situations” in Castellani’s works which in favouring objects and installations close to music met in an association of chords that were multisensorial and with fragments from two sextets by Rossini, those of The Journey to Reims and Cinderella. The exhibition inaugurated on 10 August 2002 which in the Galleria di Franca Mancini in Pesaro was divided into stages, in an installation conceived by the artist, one had “Uno Spartito”, “Le sparite”, “Tre quadri”, “Quattro fiori”, “Cinque vocali” and “Sette le Note”. Besides the photographs of the works on exhibit the volume contains texts by Bruno Cagli, Paolo Fabbri and a piece especially written for the occasion by Enrico Castellani.
